Type of a scam Employment
I initially received a text message from a number stating that I have been reviewed for an interview thru CareerBuilder. With amphastar pharmaceutical Incorporated. They then told me to download Google Hangouts for a online interview as per COVID. The whole point to work from home. They told me to download an add Richard Prins. To Google Hangouts. They then started to talk to me about the job and it’s prerequisites which all seem legit. A few questioning factors came into play once the job was offered. The employment offer letter was the most skeptical. Once they said in fine print that I would have to reimburse $250 for a time tracker before I start at the job I declined the offer. Not thinking it would be a big deal I told them I was not interested and they started to call me profusely and text me begging to reconsider. With his actions being itrational very unprofessional I threatened to block him if he did not stop. He proceeded and I ended up blocking him. I feel very compromised in this situation and would like to inform others that they might be a part of the scam of working from home. I hope no one else is victimized by this company.
