Type of a scam Business Email Compromise
Received an email suggesting they had deposited money into the business bank account.
Good day,
We have effected the payment to your new bank details as directed by your account department. There was an attachment in the form of a zip file. I did not open. Below is the message in the email.
Kindly confirm the attached of the TT copy of the first payment we sent today into the new bank details given us by your account department
Please confirm you receive funds for us to proceed with the second payment and please send us the copy B/L immediately and other shipping documents.
