He said his name was Ganini with APG calling about a rebate I should be receiving from Penn Power. He told me to go pull my account statement, he was going to ask me for some information and then he wanted a copy of my statement. I told him we do not have an account with Penn Power, we have an account with First Energy. He tried to tell me First Energy goes by several other names and continued to try to get me to give him information from my statement. I told him I would only give information directly to someone calling from First Energy. He said he could get someone from Penn Power on the line….probalby his friend in the next room. What a scam. I had to hang up on him because he wouldn’t stop talking. He called back, our receptionist hung up on him. He called again and left me a voice mail asking for the info again. I found an article on line about this exact company and same phone number and same type situation happening to other. Beware.
