Type of a scam Online Purchase
Bought a set of turn signals and a grill insert for my Jeep. When the grill insert came in it was defective, I contacted them through Facebook messenger and was advised that they would send a new insert and it was not necessary to return the one that I had already received. A couple of days later I received the turn signals which were broken. I contacted them through Facebook messenger again and asked for a phone # where I could speak to someone and was advised that they did not have a phone system up and working at the time that we could only communicate through Facebook messenger or email. I advised that the turn signals were broken and I wanted to return them and did not want a replacement I just wanted my money back for them. I was told that a refund would be issued and I would receive information by email. The next communication I received was telling me that the new grill insert and turn signals had been shipped. I attempted to contact the company and I was blocked on messenger, I tried to log into my account and received a message that it was not a valid account and I tried to email and received no message back, I also attempted to text and it never went through. I did some research and found another phone # for the location and called, I spoke to someone who stated that it was "probably a scam" and advised me to go to their web site and see that they did not even sell truck parts that company was PT Auto Warehouse and they did confirm that it was their address
