Type of a scam Debt Collections
American Collections Enterprise Inc in Virginia contacted me in regards to a business matter and questioned me in regards to my date of birth and social security number. They are stating that I owe money on a debt of around $200 for a procedure done in February or March of 2014. I requested that they send a letter and they said that they have already sent one, I have not received a letter from them ever. I requested them to send another letter and they refused to do so. I requested a certified letter and they refused to one. If I do owe money on this I would like to see an itimized invoice for the procedure but they refuse to provide me with one. I have reviewed other issues online in regards to this company and I do not feel comfortable providing them any information; it feels fraudulent and apperars to be a phishing scam.
