I received several (7-10) "extremely urgent" notices about my factory warranty expiring on my car. When I finally called to what the letters were about, I was asked for my VIN number (which I didn’t provide) and was "approved for an extended warranty" on my car. The person I spoke with was extremely defensive when I expressed doubts, and tried to pressure me into buying service when I explained that I wanted to check with my current auto insurer about this type of coverage. I looked up the company while I was on the phone, and saw several claims that this company had tricked people into paying for coverage that they didn’t need. I informed the representative I would be filing a complaint with BBB about the tactics they’re using, as I’m sure others could be pressured/scared into buying coverage when they received "extremely urgent" notices about their car’s coverage/warranty being expired and being told that they’re going to be ripped-off by repair shops if they don’t have this coverage… The representative got pretty upset…

I received a notice in the mail on February 12, 2016 that the factory warranty on my 2016 vehicle was about to or had expired. I feel they are trying to get money for a service that is not needed nor can they provide. I have a factory warranty through the dealership I purchased the car at.
