Type of a scam Credit Cards
Got a call from a number I didn’t know. Call ID said it was from United States. Lady asked for my name and I confirm who I was. She said she was a Visa Mastercard assistant. And she could help lower my interest rates with my credit card. I asked if they were from USAA and she responded no. Again told me she was a Visa and Mastercard assistant and could help lower my rates from the high interest rate I had down to 7%. Unless I had a maxed out card and I confirmed I didn’t however because I have never heard of them I was not comfortable talking to them.
Lady gave me her name which was Christa. Gave me the website above and the number to call back. I looked at the website and it seemed suspicious. When I looked at the number she gave me I realized that the two numbers were completely different.
