Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I was contacted from a company that I had never dealt with identifying themselves as America Cash Loan. They used the phone number 209-235-6888, gave me a approval code and said I needed to call that number to speak with a manager, give the approval code, and get a loan for $3,000. When I called back and got on the line with someone else they wanted a $199.00 verification fee that they said I would get back but they were only willing to mail the loan documents so I would not have any paperwork in my hand or in my email that said they had accepted and would return that money. When I said I didn’t feel right about their request, she hung up on me. Everyone had solid American names and spoke with a thick accent from Asia. The phone room in the background was loud.
