"Alvin Smith" keeps showing up on caller ID. I finally answered and told them that we are on the do not call list, please take us off of your call list. The lady said "Never" and hung up. There were delays in between us talking, like it was being routed a different way. She had an accent, maybe like Africa. You cannot return calls to that number.

This scam was reported within the last month by WRAL tv out of Raleigh, NC. In my case the phone rings and my wife answered and listens for a minute and then hands the phone to me. The caller ask if this is (my name) and I replied yes like an [censored] and they immediately hung up.
