Total money lost $1,950

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

Well I saw the ad on the internet while I was on another website,it looked legitimate there was good reviews from people on there so I decided to apply and see what would come of it.i dont have the greatest credit so for people like me who need help to try to get ahead in life I tried. They had money amounts on the application I chose between 30000 and 40000 anyway I got an email back about 2 or 3 days later saying I was approved and I needed to call the # they sent so i called and for me to get the loan of 40000 they would need a security deposit of 1,950 just to make sure i was going to make my payments. So i e transferred the 1,950 to a email account which wasn’t the company name after being told that they would deposit the loan into my account as i gave my banking information as well as ids and sin #. I waited about half hour and called them to ask when the money was being deposited, I got the run around from this person after about 3 to 4 hours it still was not deposited into my account.then I got a call from a person who apparently was the broker for my loan which he told me I didn’t have good enough credit that he needed 10% of the 40000 which then I told him no way that a contract was already made up for the agreed upon amount. He told me to call the salesman back which I did and told him I want my money back because that’s not what we agreed to and I have the contract to prove it he actually agreed and said that the whole situation was wrong and he understood why I was mad. I just wanted my money back which was lent to me by my mother which I told I would give back as soon as the loan went through. I haven’t got through to the salesman since because I just want my money because they wanted more money to complete the transaction which I did what they asked and they all of a sudden want more money to complete the contract, I said no way I already lost 1,950 which was borrowed to me. And when the broker called he sounded like salesman, I’m not a 100% sure on that but I knew something was fishy from that point on I asked for my money back because it sounded like a scam
