I was looking for a Great Dane puppy. The website Alpha Gentle Giants looked legitimate. I filled out the contact form. I received an email thanking me for my interest etc. There was no name at the bottom. We exchanged emails back and forth regarding the purchase of the puppy. I was sent additional pictures and a video of the puppy. He told me that he talked to my daughter and we sounded like a good family for the puppy to go to. I talked to my daughter and she said that she hadn’t spoke to anyone. I asked if I could face time with the puppy to see if we had a bond and to get a feel of the puppies personality. He/she did not respond. Then I asked if he/she took credit cards and if Kane (the puppy) was still available.. I received a short response the next day No we do not, yes Kane is available. I started doing research looking at Bing images to see if Kane’s pictures were on the web. I didn’t find his picture. But I did find the Home page pictures on it. I also found the same pictures of Great Danes used on a couple other sites. I was suspicious and told him/her that my nephew lived in Michigan and was coming out for Christmas and could come and pick up the puppy. That would save me shipping costs. I did not receive a response.
