Hi! I was contacted by someone via email trying to make a large order for batteries. The company name is Allubtech. There is a website listed as allubtech.com. The person wanted to pay with a credit card for the order. I looked into this as I normally do with ScamPulse.com and with Manta and D & B. This business is not accredited. There was no info available online other than their website. I chatted with one of your investigators and we both researched and I called a company listed on their website as a company they do business with . This company said their website has been hacked and they are having serious problems with it. Associated Metal Cast Alabama is the company name. I gave them the info I have. This happens very regularly. This is the second time in a week that we have been solicited in this way (different company same type of scam). The caller ID listed the # they called from as a local # not Akron Ohio where they claim to be from. The # is 228-447-0376. Email is [email protected] The email didn’t accept my first response to them. Turns out Domain is listed in Nigeria.
