Type of a scam Debt Collections
They started calling me on 5-6-19 saying that I owed on a bill from 2006. It was charged off in my bankruptcy. They said that I owed 3500.00 and they would settle for 1000.00. I answered the phone call and it was a recording saying that you have been notified and I would be served papers on May 9 2019. I tried to call them back and they hang up the phone. I just wanted people to be aware of this, in case it happens to them.
