Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
The company they used is called slight solutions. The person conducted an interview via google hangout. At that point I knew it was not legit but wanted to get more information. He said he’d be mailing a check for materials and equipment I would be needed for at home job. Then messaged me the next day saying they will send it via email, print the check, take a pix of it and deposit through online banking. Once the funds were released they asked if I had a Zelle account and to send their vendor half of the amount they wanted me to deposit. I for sure knew it was a scam already and was not happy at all. You could clearly tell the check was a fake. The check was from a different company then the company that reached out for potential employment. Fortunately I worked in the banking industry for several years and know how to spot a fake check and because I do extensive research on companies offering online positions. Be careful
