Type of a scam Credit Cards
Was contacted by "Alex smith" asking if I accept credit cards as form of payment. I am a home stager. I said yes – and started with the usual questions to help a client. He was very cagey and nonspecific. I asked him if I could call him. He said he is hearing impaired so that would be impossible. I asked who his realtor was and he gave me the name of a realty company that does. It appear to exist. He just contacted me again. I don’t know how this scam works, but it appears to involve credit cards.
