Type of a scam Employment

This person emailed me stating their “client” was hiring in our city (west Texas) did not disclose anything about the company other trying to legitimize how their “LLC” hires professionals. I went to the website provided in the information of the “recruiters” title and the website was a consulting firm for accounting. I did not see anything about careers, open positions, if they were a staffing agency etc. I use to work for a staffing agency so I already had speculation the email was odd. The person wanted me to “apply” to a role on a PDF file instead of going to the staffing agency website and apply directly. They had job order numbers and job description was generic no information about the duties other than the pay, title, and if part-time/full-time. I sent a follow up email requesting a phone call because I was not comfortable applying to ANY role without further information about the jobs and the company (for several reasons). I would only receive responses back close to 7pm CST or an hour before, which was strange. I tried calling the number that was listed as head quarters and no voicemail set up and the line would keep ringing as if it wasn’t a real landline. The only response back that I got from “recruiter” was a rude and pushy response if I “confirm I had read the message and to fill out the application”. I knew instantly this was a scam, because no one professional would write a response like that without secondary follow up.
