Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

This company said if I pay $1000.00 they would UPS me cash or check for $100,000 etc. If I gave $2000 which is for fees and I was on the winners list, they would give me $200,000 on and on up $9000.00 for $900,000. My friend contacted me to tell me he saw my name on the list and wondered if they contacted me. He said he gave them $2000.00 and they came to his house within 24 hours like they claim and gave him $200,000.00 in cash which he deposited and the bank said it was real money. It also has something to do with being on disability.
