Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
I received a message on Messenger portraying my friend using her FB picture, etc. Stating she won $150,000 and they saw my name on the list to win and I was to text this number of the agent and give them my personal information to receive my winnings.
The following is a copy of what the person told me to do:
"Here is the agent txt number . (505) 900-0477
Just,text your name! Tell him you heard about the ongoing funds and ready to claim your money."
I texted the number and they told me to do this:
Fill in the required information below, so we could o=locate your destination and as a measure to verify if We are been contacted the right person. CLAIM REQUIREMENTS; FULL NAME…PREFERRED DELIVERY ADDRESS…DATE OF BIRTH…MOBILE CONTACT…MARITAL STATUS…OCCUPATION…INCOME..GMAIL… Write me back the answers here one accordingly with all sincerity, Thanks.
