AFS Litigations contacted our home number and my wife’s cell about delivering legal papers on a payday loan of $620.00. No such loan ever existed. One Evelyn Roberts left a message from 1-855-334-8629, a number that is shown to be a mobile number in India. Further investigation showed that the State of Minnesota and the federal government have legal action against this company and its owners as recently as 1/7/2016. Be advised: this is a scam! Do not give them any information they don’t already have. For example, they used my wife’s maiden name and a former employer. A side note: The WORST thing you can do is apply for an online payday loan! My research indicates that many phony debt collectors are actually using such sites to get your information an you really don’t know whom you’re dealing with.
