Type of a scam Online Purchase
Heard of this sale from someone on Facebook. I checked several places including a Google search to see if there were any scam notices about this purchase and found none. Went ahead with the purchase for $108.94 with debit card. Received an email stating order confirmed and an order number. Email said that I would be emailed when the order was processed. Never did receive any follow-up email, even after I inquired about one week after the purchase. Now, after 2 weeks, the website I made the purchase with is no longer available. The sale was for a Manatee 12 Deluxe Kayak Package 2 for 1. My debit card payment was taken the next day after purchase and listed "Manatee, Mississauga, Ontario.
