Caller claimed to be with Advanced Radiology saying there was an "issue with my date of service" and needed me to provide personal information (address) to "confirm my identity for HIPPA purposes". When I refused (since I had no way of knowing if it was legitimate) she became irate and said then she couldn’t give me the information. I then called Advanced Radiology and they looked up my account and said there was no reason for anyone to be calling me as there were no outstanding issues.
