Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
At 2:10pm on 10/24/18 s man by the name of Alvin Paul sent a text to my phone saying he was approved for a loan for $5000. I being the man of the house wanted to pay off our outstanding and current bills with this money. Anyway I verbally told this man we don’t need the $5000 so the man said he could loan us a minimum of $3000. So all in all we sent this man $200 to (929) 379-6642 then he told me that he needs to secure the money we need to send $600 more. Yep he sent $600 more for a total of $800 all thru Google pay gift cards, so we called back and he changed his voice and acted like he was a supervisor, so by then I knew we got scammed so this man tried to get us for another $600 in cancellation fees in order for him to send us the money back. No we did not send that. I gave this man my debit card number, the expiration date and the 3 digits on back of my debit Mastercard. Also my Social Security number. We have just cancelled my master card as we are doing that the man was trying to take $265 from my debit card but Netspend denied that charge which is still pending. Please help to catch this guy please so that he can’t do this to anyone else.
