Type of a scam Phishing
I got a call from 202-750-1466 from a man who said his name and I could not understand what he said. He would not give me the name of his company but said I had applied for a 10,000. loan and he needed my bank account information so he could deposit the money ( I never applied for a loan from anyone but my local bank). He started to threaten me when I would not give him the information he wanted and hung up. I looked online and found the telephone number pointed to Advance America but am not sure that is the company because the caller would not give me a company name. I know this is an attempt to steal my personal information.
