Adorable Cockapoo Puppies

Martha – Oct 06, 2020

We found these puppies online on October 5, 2020. We began an online sharing of information which was warm and included photographs of our puppy, “Mabel”.

When we found that our puppy was in Tampa, Florida, we asked about transport. This is when red flags became apparent to us.

We asked for photos of the parents. We received none.

We were told that in order to move
forward , the amount of $800 and $150 transit fee for the puppy and escort would be needed immediately through the “cash app” or Zelle.

We were also given information which was not well written or worded followed by other information in a different writing style and tone.

We were asked for all personal information and payment.

When we found these other stories similar to our experience, we chose not to continue.

Note that all puppy photos are beautiful, 10 weeks old, house trained, named and just too good to be true. And it was. Sadly.

Do not believe for a moment that your “Mabel” will be flying the friendly skies today. Beware.

My family and I have been searching for an afforadable puppy via the internet. We were focused on Ohio breeders because that is where we live. We found that cockapoos are a very expensive breed (average $3000). I found an adorable pup on adorablecockapoopuppies.com and sent an email to inquire. My email was immediately responded to via text. The owner/breeder said their puppies were $800!!! The kids and I were so excited and then quickly dismayed when we found out they were located in New Jersey. That was quickly remedied when I was told they safely ship their pups for $200. I began to ask more questions and investigate a little. I noticed the ScamPulse.com has this company listed in Georgia. The person I had communication with said they were in New Jersey. I noticed that each of the pictures of the available pups had a different background/house/floor. I asked for additional photos. I did not get any. I inquired about “transporting” to which I received a vague explanation but I was required to pay $500 up front and the other $500 when shipped. I asked if we could set up a time to talk live and discuss additional questions. No response. I asked if we could FaceTime or zoom so we could see the pups before purchasing. I was denied. It became very clear that this is in fact a scam and there are NO REAL puppies available. This happened in June. It is now 9/14 and I checked their website this morning, all the EXACT same pups on the page….still 10 weeks old. Please don’t fall for this scam. They wanted Venmo money promptly to which I’m sure I would never have heard from them again!

We purchased two puppies from the scammer. Each puppy was $800 plus $200 each for shipping from Atlanta, GA. The scammer had a thick middle eastern accent, and was hard to understand him. I would have told my father on the spot that it was a scam since their means of purchase was through Zelle. The scammer whose name he claims is Fonpem Paul. He messaged my father the next day and advised that one of the payments did not go through and would need for us to send again. I already knew this would happen. We did not send. The address on the bill of sale is real but the house was just closed on a few days ago. I called the buyer’s agent and he advised me that the buyer’s name did not match, and neither did his cell phone number. He also mentioned that the buyer had nothing to do with dog breeding. Be cautious of this scam. I am a former fraud analyst, and I used to see this all the time. Unfortunately, I was not consulted about it before it had been done, otherwise I wouldn’t have allowed my father to go through such a thing.

These people have pictures of puppies "available for adoption" on their website. They say the puppies will be potty trained and registered. Always, always, always ask questions! As soon as I started questioning the registration (because I’m familiar with dog breed registration), they stopped all contact.
