I received a text message saying I was chosen by my Walmart receipt (along with six other winners) for a $1,000 gift card promotion. They provided a link to follow. Before clicking the link I checked online for Walmart scams and found on Walmart website that if you have been chosen for a promotion they DO NOT and will NOT contact you by text message.
