Type of a scam Debt Collections
Was contacted by this company claiming they are pursuing a student loan debt. They would not provide any further info. I was able to obtain company’s telephone from the caller ID. Company wanted my credit, debit card or checking account to pay $5 for 10 months, which would allows the account & any negative language to be removed. This would also allow after the 10 months to discuss other option with a financial institution.
