Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted via text by Brooks Gillette, Monday Aug 1, 2016 @ 5:11 pm. He stated that he got my resume’ from Indeed.com and wanted to interview me for a job with Acosta S&M Inc. He asked me to create an account on Google Hangouts to proceed with the interview. Once hired my first task was to let them deposit money into my checking account for money to purchase a computer and software with. They deposited 1,950.00 and I was to go to WalMart and money gram 900.00 then 800.00 to Jaycee Del Rosario, address: 11-36 44 Drive Apt 4, Long Island City, NY 11101. Which I did. They paid me 250.00 for that task. At this point I was very suspicious. The next day 08/10/16 they told me it was not enough money for the equipment and wanted me to do it again, which I started asking for proof they were a valid company which they could not give me. I called Acosta @ 904/281-9800 and they had not heard of Brooks Gillette and stated they would not hire over hangouts and would not send an interview request via text.
