While selling a used car, scammer contacted me via text saying "Wow I really love your car" "I tried to call but I have bad service right now, sorry" What day this week is best for me to check it out?"
Then the scammer asked me to link to a phishing website:
"I need to make sure everything is OK with this vehicle. Can you get me a background report from accurateautoreporting.com" "this shows everything regarding your cars history…accidents title etc" "lmk if you can do that for me and if you can send the report to [email protected] that would be amazing!"
