Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
I reached out to Stephanie Church at Academic Guidance Group based on co-workers experience that her company could lower your education student loan payments and then teach you how to qualify for payment relief. The deal is you pay each month Academic Guidance Group for 36 months (my payment was $49) so the company would fill out the paperwork for you and file on your behalf to your education servicer requesting an income-driven repayment plan. At the end of 36 months you take over paperwork for a loan forgiveness of $0 amount and at the end of 120 months your loan will be forgiven, owing nothing on your student loan. After reaching out to my education servicer, Mohela, they informed me it was a scam and had been fraudulently coerced into paying for a free service provided y the US Department of Education. Plus I didn’t qualify on any loan forgiveness based on the US Department qualifications. Academic Guidance Group (Licty, Inc) lied, telling me I did qualify and they also fraudulently accessed my Federal Student Loan information.
