In February I met with Mr. Al Reynolds about doing a roof job for me. He that he would accept the job. His foreman Darren Rew II emailed me the contract to sign stating that I would need to put half down as a material deposit and he would have Mr. Reynolds meet me at my bank for the cash transaction at 2pm. So me and my wife met Mr. Reynolds at Navy Federal Credit Union. He had explained the procedures of contract of the roof replacement. Everything to our knowledge looked legit, Mr. Reynolds assured him and his roofing crew would get it down at a timely manner.
So we agreed to do the cash transaction with a receipt. The transaction was made of $3750.00. We’ve waited nearly a month past still no Mr. Reynolds or Darren Rew II. I’ve tried calling and texting Mr. Reynolds and Darren Rew II several times. They were responding saying that we’re going get the job done and don’t worry we will take care of it. March 9th Mr. Reynolds said he was finishing up a job near my house and we were next house to get worked on. Mr. Reynolds and his crew didn’t show. So, I called him to see what was the status of our roof job. He stated that we next very soon still waiting on a WPI certificate. Middle of March 2018 still didn’t get the job with a no call no show response.
So text and called Mr. Reynolds and Darren Rew II with getting a refund. Darren Rew II said ok. No response from Mr. Reynolds. Since then no response from both them when calling or text. I put in for a fraud report to Corpus Christi Police Department. Just wait for a response from the detectives. A&R Roofing Inc. is claimed to be based out of San Antonio, TX. This statement is true to the best of my knowledge.
