I work at a business here in Pierre, SD. This caller, names himself John Miller, called and asked if we have received a work order from the city. He claimed some one would show up to remove our meters today. When I pressed him for the local number to contact them myself he wouldn’t give it to me. He gave me a fake work order number and a phone number of 1-888-201-8868 ext 1. to call back. He hung up so I called the local department and this is not the first report they have had today on this call. I called the number back he gave me, the automatic recording says thank you for calling the city of city and only gave you option 1 for payment/billing, so I hit 1 and the same guy came on the line. When I asked him for his business info to call BBB, he called me profanities and hung up. I called it back one more time and he had changed the greeting to something energy already. This man had a foreign accent as well.
