Type of a scam Business Email Compromise
Got reports that my business email account had been corrupted. I Called Yahoo Help Tech support through accessing this website https://help.yahoo.com/kb/account. I thought was yahoo.tech support and notified of the problem. I was informed by this technician that my email had been hacked and that he could recover the email by remote–ing in on my computer. I was then referred to cyber expert pro because the tech reported he noted problems that needed support. He forwarded them to me and I then allowed them to remote in on my computer and I purchased a tech support plan that I called in and used once when I got a very alarming notification that my Microsoft account was at risk for being hacked. The next thing I know. I happened to be on my computer looking at my bank account when I noted a large deposit listed that was not one I was expecting or owed. I was working at the time and had to log off, but I logged back in a short time later. The deposit was gone, my balance back to normal. The next day I check my account and all of my money had been taken. I believe the people claiming to be computer technicians at cyber expert pro are responsible.
