Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Posted on craiglist filled out information received an email that wasnt professional so i didnt respond but about 2 weeks later received an yellow taped envelope with a letter and a check inside the letter the check looked real the letter instructed to text and email when received and deposit the check . i texted but said i was calling to confirm business . another person texted saying they were the installer being persistent about understanding how theyre not fake but i called the companies on the check and they reported it fraudulent after i texted both numbers theyre scamming its fake they never responded
