I have received 6 calls from 3 different phone numbers (910-751-6266, unkown, and private) today claiming to be from Mutual of Omaha looking for someone with a different first name but same last name. When I tell them they have the wrong number, they say, "while I have you on the phone" or, "I’d like to let you know about our current low rates for life insurance." I asked them to stop calling on the 1st and 2nd calls. On the 6th call I mentioned contacting the FTC, and they hung up immediately. The callers seem to be in a very loud, foreign sounding call center. I contacted Mutual of Omaha via the number on their official site and they claim they do not make these types of calls. I have seen the number mentioned reported on several complaint sites today. I am on Social Security Disability, so they may be targeting the more vulnerable demographics.
