Type of a scam Debt Collections
This caller states that I wrote bad checks to pay off a old Shaws Jewelers debt, from what I can remember. I had two accounts with them one I paid off and the other one went into collections about 7 years ago. Now I started receiving calls saying that I owe Shaws and they filing charges on me for writing bad checks. I have never wrote a bad check in my life, not to mention that this debt was never on my credit nor have I heard anything from this until this year. I got a call today stating that by tomorrow they will be issuing some type of warrant. I’m about to get the police involved now cause they are beginning to scare me!
