Type of a scam Debt Collections
I received a call from 855-208-3707 claiming to be CFS Collection Agency. They told me I had an old debt for $590.00 and If I didn’t pay it they would be taking action against me. I checked my credit report to see if I had an outstanding debt due, I did not. I contacted the BBB and they confirmed for me this is a scam. Before I contacted the BBB I did actually pay them $590.00 but I have contacted my bank who is helping me reverse the charge.
