Type of a scam Debt Collections

A company named C*** (Georgia), ***.net, Tempe, Arizona contacted me through telemarketing. By the way, the latter company’s 800-983-4322, is either disconnected or constantly busy, no response and I was given 2 different addresses. After talking to 4-5 employees there, I was told they would save me $2500 within the year by different means. My consultant was on quite a few 3-way calls to my 2 credit cards and did manage to get me a funds transfer, which we both know I could have gotten by myself. This process took us at least 4 hours of phone calls back and forth. Numerous calls to C***, which cannot be found on the internet, were fielded by different people. Usually not getting the right info or even a call back, I started getting nervous about the fee that was taken out of the first credit card of $995. I changed my credit cards immediately, but when trying to make a dispute against this company, I was told by the dispute manager at the credit card customer service that they thought the promise was delivered, but I’m going thru with the dispute anyway. Shortly thereafter, I was contacted by C*** and was told if I dispute this charge, they would send it to their collections and ruin my good credit, I don’t appreciate this threat and I found many claims against this company that were saying basically the same situation that I was put through and worse. Apparently, they are not a BBB accredited company and I am therefore reporting this instance in hopes of exposing what I think is just another instance of a scam to rip people off!
