A pickup truck was advertised for sale on Facebook. Contact information was given for [email protected] I contacted her and she claimed she had lived in Rexburg and had gotten a divorce and moved. She said she got the truck in the divorce and just wanted to get rid of it. She said she was going through eBay buyer protection program. She asked for my name address and phone. The net morning I received an email from eBay buyer protection. It looked legitimate but asked me to buy eBay gift cards to pay. Had a customer support number and a transaction number and gave the sellers address which was in Nebraska. I called eBay on their website phone number and they told me it was a scam. Luckily I didn’t buy the gift cards first.
