Type of a scam Business Email Compromise
The caller (scammer) said his name really fast I think he said Carlos or Carl then he proceeded to talk about how he saw me browsing online for homes that are for sale/rent in my area. The caller told me that he was calling from some company, and saw where I was looking online for information regarding renting a home or purchacing a home & how he could help me with that!! However, after he stated his reasoning for calling me, he started off with the question "Can you hear me" ?!!…I said YES, but I immediatly hung up after he asked me that because I remember reading about this particular scam on fb!!! I hope you catch the people who are doing this & I will gladly be willing to help in any way!!!!
