Connect Auto Glass

After reading all the complaints it is hard to understand how this company is still in business. I contacted them last year to have my car window replaced, they contracted small a repair shop who did the work to my satisfaction. I had a $250 deductible from my insurance company which I had financed through Snap Finance who wrote the check to Connect Auto Glass. The disconnect here is that Connect Auto Glass did not pay the contractor who did the work which I did not know at the time. Just recently I contacted Connect again (this time for another broken window) although they contracted with a different (larger) shop I just happened to drop by the former shop owner who told me that he was never paid from last year and proceeded to show me a large stack of unpaid invoices. He said he has been calling them and receives no reply. I complained to Snap Finance and hopefully they will stop working with them. The larger shop I am dealing with now says they have had no problem with Connect. So it seem they target small shop owners with the intention of never paying them, but avoid doing the same to larger businesses. This is stealing of the worst kind. I told the small shop owner to set up an account with Snap themselves so they can offer customers a payment plan which is the only reason I was working with Connect Auto Glass in the first place. So although I have not been personally affected, I don’t like the idea of someone doing work on my behalf and not being paid for the part or the labor. I will repeat what someone else said. This is WRONG and should be ILLEGAL.
