Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
This scam initially sends you an email and ask to fill up a form for personal loan then they take around a month or so to contact you over the phone. On the phone first call would be just an inquiry call asking if you need the loan then the second call would be a verification call. Third call would be the call where they will mention that for verification you will have to buy a steam gift card worth 150$ against the personal loan of 5000$ disbursement. The very little doubt in mind leads to confirmation of scam when the agent asks you to keep it on hold while buying the gift card and mention that it’s for personal use only to avoid the fee plus strong follow up calls every minute when the call is disconnected. I’m sure lot of people might be getting thugged like this. Please look in to this issue at the earliest and avoid any major mishaps.
