Male voice, "This is xxxxxx, from "consumer survey". Can you hear me OK?"
I laughed and hung up. It was a recording, not a real voice. I tried to call back, got a
"survey completed" or some such and saying to press 9 if I wanted to opt out. I didn’t want to push anything, so I hung up.
My phone showed me the number but said Salt Lake City… whose area code is 801.
