I received a phone call on my work cell phone. The call was from Boise, so I assumed it was pertaining to my job. The man said that he was from the Customer Service Center and asked if I could hear him ok. I responded yes, but immediately remembered an article I had read regarding this scam so I hung up the phone.

I believe this may be a part of the scam I read about today, wherein the caller asks if you can hear them and may possibly record your "yes" response to use against you later. The caller just said he was "Jason from the customer service center" and asked if I could hear him. I said "yes" and he started on his spiel about vacations, and I just hung up.
