Type of a scam Rental
This person has taken a rental listing for a house, posted it onto Craigslist, acting as if they own the home to rent out. They will ask for identification to verify your identity to view said home. They even had information to the key lock box code of the home. They will not answer phone calls. Only communicate via text message. They will ask for the “down payment” of the rental through Zelle before drawing up a contractual agreement. The actual listing for the house is being listed by property management companies through rental sites. They said they have no outside entity helping list this house. And that this person claiming to be the owner is not whom he says he is.
