Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

I answered a phone call from an Insurance company. I am not certain of the name. The caller may have said Century Insurance. I do not have their phone number. I don’t have caller. ID. They could give me better benefits then Medicare. They asked for my Social Security number. I gave it out. Wanted me to keep repeating the number. I hung up. The caller sounded so nice.Sounded like they really cared. I know that I should not have given out my Social Security number. I contacted my insurance company.
