Type of a scam Moving
Scammer posted an advertisement for room available for rent in the following link:

When i responded to the advertisement, scammer contacted first via email ([email protected]) and confirmed that the room was available and also shared an address(*** * *** *** *** ** ***, USA). But also mentioned that scammer was not available on location for 3-4 weeks but could mail the house keys if we reached rental agreement. I tried calling this person but would not get a response. Then scammer sends text saying her inability to talk because of poor network. She insisted that we continued through text. When i insisted that we talk, she called the next day but pretended as if she could not hear anything. She wanted to talk through text messages. After a few text exchanges she mentioned that i need to send her $1200 for moving in through zelle quick pay. After payment, she would mail me the house keys. She gave her zelle email id as [email protected]
By this time,i already knew in my heart that this was a fraud. I did not express anything to the scammer but was looking for a way to report this scam. So here i am reportin this – it’s still fresh (incident started 3/5/19 and continued on 3/6/19) as the scammer is still waiting for me to transfer the money.
