Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I had submitted for a casting call audition through www.projectcasting.com that was published on 11.17.16 for a Samsung Commerical casted by BLUE SCREEN PRODUCTION that was scheduled to film 12.16-12.18. I have been communicating with "Edmund Murray" the "casting director/project manager" via email only over the course of the past few weeks in regards to the project. However this morning I get a random text from this guy "Edmund Murray" from # 347-353-0025 asking me if I received his email (I had not yet check my email as of then) once I did check my email it immediately gave me a sense of I was trying to be scammed. It has stated there was a check being mailed to me via FedEx overnight as part of my "booking fee & wardrobe" in the amount of $4,966.70 providing a tracking # AND asking that I deposit it into my bank providing them with a picture of my deposit slip etc. I immediately contacted the administrator for Project Casting & was advised they had removed the casting & company from their page advised terms receiving multiple reports. FedEx just arrived & I informed them of the scam. There were (3) packages all from the same person with the same tracking #. I DID NOT SIGN, ACCEPT OR OPEN THE PACKAGES. The delivery driver did let me take pictures of the packages to send to you as well. Since I can only upload one picture I will attach the email. I can send all emails/text and pictures of the packages upon your request (which include the senders name & address listed below)
