SCAM!

Jonathon – Sep 21, 2020

I purchased a jumpsuit from Coat Once that came to 48 dollars after shipping and it never arrived. They are a scam site. When I emailed to request a refund I realized that none of the email addresses attached to the company are real. It’s really awful this can happen. Please don’t buy anything from them.

Ordered a jumpsuit. Never came. Tracking not found. Scammers should all be put through a woodchipper.

Coatonce, as they are now known, was called Ladymet when I purchased a clothing item from them after seeing their advertisement and account on Instagram. After being linked to their website, I purchased a women’s jumpsuit for $38 + shipping. The company sent me an email first telling me that an item had been left in my shopping cart and did I want to purchase it. I already had, so thinking this was strange, I emailed them to ask if my order had gone through, as I hadn’t received any confirmation. After several attempts to email the company since I didn’t receive any tracking or shipping information, nor had my package come one month later, I was told via email that Covid-19 was causing delays. Finally they sent an email saying the item had been shipped but when I clicked on the Tracking No. it couldn’t be found.

Next I did some research online and found some recent reviews by buyers like me who said they had been scammed: waiting months to receive an item and if it actually came, it was an extremely cheap facsimile of the item they saw represented online.

That’s exactly what wound up happening: today I received the jumpsuit in the mail, and it is like a Halloween costume version of what was presented online. The material was a cheap, thin synthetic, the measurements completely untrue to size and not fitted for a body at all, and without a single tag or label. When I put the buttons through the button holes, the threading came loose. When I put it on, it was laughable. While the colors are similar to the image online, nothing else is. In addition, while I believe the internet presence of the company is based in China, the return address on my package reads: Zhao Meng // 1550 Glen Curtiss St. // Carson, CA 90746-4012.
