They took my money and sent me black face and when I emailed them they told me to keep them and they will resend my item I really ordered. They resent a tracking number but guess what its all bs. I got 5 black face mask and paid 53 dollars and I really ordered a sewing machine

Ordered sewing machine in April. Told it was delivered June 4th. Checked tracking number. Showed small packages delivered to my mail box. Machine would not be small. Ordered a sewing machine… got random face masks… the company keeps avoiding the topic of refund. Im sooooo pissed off this isnt funny. Paypal better give me the refund after all the proof ive given them. I screen shot all the stuff including things from this page. Their mailing address is also fake.

Can we do anything about this? I ordered a $50 sewing machine in early April, and they are claiming it was posted into my mailbox – a sewing machine in a mailbox in June! I hadn’t made the connection to the random face masks That turned up a few weeks ago, but now I at least know where these came from (assumed I’d been drunk-buying on amazon again).

I encourage others to file this complaint, I am also referencing this website in my complaint to show there are more victims than just me.

I order a sewing machine on april 16 of 2020 and I never receive it the post office lost it and the Crorchdart company never return my money they send me nonsense messages I paid them through paypal and right now I have a dispute with them concerning this matter. I am so disappointed because that was a present for a friend of mine. I will never by for this company and I do not recommend it.

I tried to purchase a sewing machine in March and was under the impression i would receive it in April. I didnt and continually asked for a refund but was told the delivery was held up due to the corona virus. When i asked for a manager to contact me and refund repeatedly i was given ridiculous responses and told they would not refund me because the shipment was lost. (Because thats my fault?) Finally June 23 i was told it was delivered and a refund was not possible and to contact my post office. Well they not only put the wrong address but it was only 2ounces (for a $60 sewing machine) when i told them i was going to report them if i didnt get my refund i was told it would take 4- 6 weeks. R u kidding me? I am beyond upset… And i guess I’ll never see the refund either.. So disappointed!

I too ended up settling for the partial refund minus the $10 shipping difference. I just wanted it over with. Years ago my husband got stung on a “too good to be true” power tool. He lost $25. After that I signed up for PayPal & all our banking information goes through them now. Unless it’s a well known USA business like Target, Walmart or such, & often even if it is, I use PP wherever the option is available. This is precisely why. For a while there they seemed slow to help but they did come through for me. I really commend the people who set this SCAM site up for innocent people like us too. Thanks because I will look here first next time I wonder if something feels a little “too good to be true.” I thought I researched but it was too early to have anything recorded here unfortunately. I hope by sharing information we’ve helped each other in some small way.

Omg they sent me some black dusk mask that was less than an oz I should have went with my gut I called the post off about to fuss them out but something said just wait and see what they say and that’s when she said my tracking number was for something that was less than an oz I will be getting in contact again with paypal when I looked at the machine it never said it was coming from China because if they would have said it was coming from China I would never had order it and I’m always looking at reviews but I don’t know why I did not check before I purchase it

Hi, same thing happened to me for a $54 sewing machine. I filed a dispute on PayPal and the seller is offering a partial refund of $43 instead of the full $54, after stealing my money 😡.

I have sent multiple emails they sent me a tracking number in Chinese that only they can understand and I have been told over and over the machine is coming. I have not been able to get a refund i am highly upset and I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Oh my I have the exact same problem I ordered and paid for a Brother sewing machine. 4-13-2020 almost 60 dollars. Today I received a package of mask not what I ordered. I am disabled and can’t afford this. In this time of great sadness this is unacceptable and criminal.

I see they have taken down there website but if they happen to come back please know they are a scam and they will send you black face mask instead of the items you paid for. Since my 6/16 post I received 5 masks. PP now turned my claim into one for “Item significantly different than ordered.” Seller still has until mid July to respond before this is settled. I found my best option has been leaving messages on the Resolution Center Help section. Eventually someone will respond there. To those of you who used PP don’t give up on this we did nothing wrong here…we are VICTIMS not (just) fools & [censored] who should have known better. To the rest of you…do something try your bank, credit card company. Call or email your politicians about changing internet laws. You can make a difference!

PayPal seems to be denying everyone’s claims yet their Payment Protection promises to refund for items that are not received or not as described. As soon as I saw a China recipient I asked PP for a refund on 4/13 they denied my claim. Supposedly my order shipped 4/17 it tracks nothing since then as an e packet. They can weigh no more than 5oz. Guess what I will be getting? Then PP will close my case. Once closed you’re done. They win. On EBay this would never happen I’ve bought hundreds of items there EBay backs it up under PP. No messing around like this. BBB takes complaints against PP too. Their so doing us wrong here. This goes on too just look up sewing machines you’ll see new websites is PP listed? There is something in it for them. These places count on it.I fell for it ONLY because I trusted PP. Their site boasts we’re protected from scammers with PayPal. Who’s doing the scamming PayPal?

Unfortunately, my story is the same. Ordered April 15th – a Singer sewing machine. The next day I got a tracking number. As soon as I was about to give up the tracking was in the US – so today I get a package with 1 black face mask. I am only hoping paypal will help get my money back. Wish I had checked this before I ordered.

I have a somewhat “happy ending!” Through my PayPal claim, I was offered a settlement of $54 for my $64.58 item. I accepted it immediately and the money was in my account today. I figure $10.58 is what they are saying was postage? At any rate $10.58 is a more reasonable price to pay for my stupidity! I won’t fall for this again. Actually a bargain price on the wisdom I gained!

The only reason I bought from them is because they had a US address in WA. state.

Check the labels of everything you buy. Make a phone call and talk to a person before you order online again.

OMG! So that’s what those 5 paper masks were! I received them about 2 weeks ago. When I saw they were from China, I immediately threw them away. Never did it once enter my mine that they were from Crotchdart, and they were sent in lieu of my sewing machine. Paypal also disputed my claim for the very same reasons stated previously. I am so angry with them…to take the word over a fake company versus a longtime, faithful customer. Never using Paypal again! (ordered machine on 4/10 – still fighting with Paypal for a refund. Not giving up)

I found out if the case was filed as Item Not Received previously PayPal would have to close it once tracking shows something was received.

As someone said before, Crotchdart was a scam. I also was fooled, thinking PayPal would have checked the legitimacy. Ordered a sewing maching, said it was delivered 2 weeks ago, and the site is deleted when I tried to reach the seller.

I ordered a sewing machine on 4/11. They sent a tracking number on 6/11 4 masks were delivered. I am hoping PayPal will refund my money.

This is so disgusting. My “story” reads the same. These places change their web store & e mail names every couple of months so they can’t be tracked. You’ll find deals online for all kinds of name brand small appliances. Most shipped by this ems China packager which only ships packages a few ounces in weight! By the time I figured this out & notified PayPal they wouldn’t do a thing. Telling them I ordered from WA state not China didn’t matter…how this website was fraudulent. The site with the sewing machines was here today gone tomorrow just like our money folks! I used PayPal hoping it would protect my purchase. I still have not received anything & am fighting this. I realize it’s probably a lost cause. I researched extensively beforehand but like I said they just change their names. Making pngages is easy I am just surprised PayPal doesn’t check their sellers out better. How they can equal a few masks to the same value as a sewing machine is beyond me. If that’s not a fraudulent sale what on earth is Paypal?

Further thoughts to others who made PayPal purchases. Do you not feel we have a right to know this is a foreign exchange? When I look on my PP account it shows a China name. I do not even see a tracking # on mine. Even at that PP is giving them 20 days to respond. All they have to do in that time is mail me some cheap item. I lose my case. According to the rest of you that’s ok with PP. When a seller signs an agreement with PP they are no different than us. Their address & banking info should be legit. If this is a USA bank this person should be able to be traced. If China perhaps not but PP should at the very least not allow use of PP or make them disclose on their website China purchase may take longer etc. If you look online today for the same sewing machine you bought you will see a new name. A newly designed website. Probably these same scumbugs making money off people who really worked for a living. Most of us wanted to do good for the world & make masks with our new sewing machines. That’s why this bothers me so much. I’m 70+ years old not much of an activist but this really rubs me the wrong way. There has to be a way to get this changed. I’ll write the BBB . complain to PP.. Anything else we can do?

I have similar experiences as well. I ordered a Singer 4423 heavy duty sewing machine from Crotchdart, on April 15, 2020.At the time I was ordering alot of elastic and other items online. Crotchdart didn’t send me the sewing machine, instead I got 5 black masks! Seriously I just paid $62.58 for that? I tried contacting them and no response. I was trying to buy a sewing machine for a clothing line I am working on and I came upon this one sewing machine, down below is a picture of it, that cost me $59.99 which to me wasn’t a bad price. I ordered it off Crotchdart. And pretty much everything seemed legit. I got a confirmation email, tracking number, and that’s pretty much it. Seems legit right? Then as days go buy I start to wonder why my package was taking so long to arrive. I go to check where my package is at and I kid you not at on the tracking website they gave me, my package wasn’t moving anywhere it stayed at 4/22 for a while! That’s when I was concerned. So I emailed them just acting dumb and asked where my package was so they sent me a screenshot of where my package. I wanted to just to be sure. So below I have a screenshot of the tracking site that’s in english (which is the one they sent me) and the one in their language (which is the one I screenshotted from the tracking site not translated– by the way if you go to the whole screenshot of the tracking site, there’s two parts of the tracking site one translated and the other not. I don’t know why 4/22 isn’t showing in the top part (the translated part) it’s suppose to be translated which I find odd as well but let me continue with this disaster). So I waited a like a week or so and the tracking site stayed the same! So in my mind I thought I should check their website to be sure of how long my package would arrive and in the website it said 10-15 business days. I should of screenshotted that to be honest. So I email them again and mentioned that to them because at this point it was getting past 10-15 days and I was getting worried because in my head I was thinking maybe it’s a scam. So they go ahead and say and I quote “Hello
I just checked the logistics information of your order for you. Your goods have been packaged and delivered to the airline for transportation. The latest logistics information is that the airline is already shipping. Please be patient. I am really sorry that due to the impact of the epidemic, outbound flights are decreasing and logistics are delayed. If you have any other questions, please email me. Thank you.”

So I thought to myself alright let me just be patient. So, my package finally came in on May 28. And as I’m running downstairs all excited to see my package, I see a damn little package. And inside was 5 FACE MASKS! I WAS FURIOUS! I waited so damn long for them to get this order wrong! Are you kidding me? So I contacted them and they wanted proof basically so I sent them the photo you are all seeing and they said “Hi
I’m very sorry for the inconvenience,I have checked, the logistics accidentally sent the wrong product. How about we re-send the initial item to you?” I tried to negotiate with them so I said if my item can come earlier then sure but if not, I would like my refund. That’s fair, right? So they said “Are you sure you want to resend it? It takes one month for re-shipment of goods to be sent out.” I said “No its fine, its too long at this point. Can you cancel the order and give me my refund.” They replied “Hi, if you stick to get the full refund, you should return the item to us, when we get it we will refund the full payment to you. How about refund 85% of the payment? And you can keep the items. You can save the high shipping fee also. Pls consider it again. Thank you.” Then I go “Didn’t your website say free shipping and returns? Why would I want to pay for shipping fee when you said on your website its free and plus it’s not my fault you guys made the mistake of giving me the wrong product. I think it’s upsetting I have to wait for a whole month close to two months.” Then they proceeded to say “Really? Should I refund you the full amount? You can keep the goods, thank you.” HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! Then I say “Yes, I want my refund. I need a more reliable company. It’s not you guys.” So they say ok but then try to negotiate with me saying “Or how about 90%? You can keep the goods without sending them back.” I replied with “Can I please just have my money back! At this point, money is getting low for me so I need to my money to just pay off my bills instead of this sewing machine. My priority is my bills right now so please refund my money. Having your customer waiting this long just goes to show how unprofessional you are.” They said ok then I asked how long the refund would take. They said 2-3 weeks. So as of now June 5th I am waiting on this refund. But today June 7 I go to check their website and it’s completely gone! Does that not look suspicious! This person has some serious consequences because let me tell you things like this doesn’t slide so easily. This company is a complete scam. I ordered an item on April 10th, and I finally got it today. Before receiving the item I was finding all these negative reviews. I felt like I just got played. I immediately ask for a refund. They denied saying that the order had already been shipped. To make a long story short my suspicions were correct. Instead of receiving his sewing machine like I initially ordered and paid for. I have the receipt stating the sewing machine and model with the price.
