Type of a scam Tech Support
My mom is 92, and not very computer savvy. She was contacted that she had a virus. Best Tech 24×7 told her they were a Microsoft Partner, and even sent an email to her after she paid $1900.00 for them to "fix" her computer. When Microsoft’s regular update happened, her system shut down. Couldn’t get any further than the sign on screen. After that the screen went black and nothing else would come up. I tried to help, and that’s when I found out she paid "microsoft" for security scans. I started checking, and found that the main number they sent for the company is not an active number. She was given the "direct desk number" for a technician that I just called and they won’t share any company information with me. BEST TECH 24X7 IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
